It's been a massive week of tech news, with [CES 2026 in Las Vegas](https://www.bttr.reviews/ces/) showcasing all the latest product announcements from a huge roster of companies.

Despite not being on the show floor, my inbox was flooded with announcements from companies big and small with their big product news for the year.

I didn't get close to covering all the actual news from the event, but that doesn't mean I didn't try! In this week's Roundup, I'll share all the CES coverage I did manage to write up over the past week.

**What was your favourite news story from CES? Let me know about it in the comments below!*

Being the first roundup of the year, it would be remiss of me not to share the pick of my [favourite products of 2025](https://www.bttr.reviews/best-of-2025/). Make sure you check it out and tell me what *your* favourite gadget of last year was.

[Best of 2025: My 10 favourite products reviewed this yearMy favourite gadgets of 2025 include vacuums, headphones and kitchen appliances. *Until next week*

## All the CES 2026 news this week

### Let's start with big screens

- [Samsung's bringing out more MicroRGB screen sizes this year](https://www.bttr.reviews/samsungs-2026-micro-rgb-tvs/), after last year's 115-inch giant. One of those new models will be a 130-inch behemoth, too, so there are more options if you like your TVs too big for your living room.
- [LG is also launching MicroRGB TVs this year](https://www.bttr.reviews/lg-brings-oled-intelligence-to-micro-rgb-tvs/), leveraging the brand's OLED experience to make them work better.
- [Samsung has an updated version of its Freestyle+ Projector launching](https://www.bttr.reviews/samsung-freestyle-plus-projector/), which is brighter than the last version.
- [Hisense is adding Cyan LEDs to its high end TVs](https://www.bttr.reviews/hisenses-2026-tv-lineup/) for more even gradients in its colour reproduction.
- [LG is launching a 9mm Wallpaper OLED this year](https://www.bttr.reviews/lgs-9mm-wallpaper-oled/). It's probably going to be ridiculously priced, but it will be equally gorgeous, I'm guessing.
- [Hisense has updated its laser projectors](https://www.bttr.reviews/hisenses-new-xr10-laser-projector/), making them brighter and easier to use. Win.

### What about audio?

- [LG's new home theatre products use Dolby Atmos FlexConnect](https://www.bttr.reviews/lgs-sound-suite/) for effortless setup. Keen to see exactly *how* effortless that is, though.
- [Samsung has some very pretty new speakers](https://www.bttr.reviews/samsungs-2026-audio-lineup-ces/). They look gorgeous, and will tap into other Samsung audio gear easily.
- [Shokz has somehow added audio isolation to its open ear earphones](https://www.bttr.reviews/shokz-openfit-pro-announced/). I should be testing these out in the near future, so stay tuned for first impressions.
- I don't love Will.I.Am's music, so I can't imagine these will be tuned to my tastes, but [LG's latest xboom speakers look pretty decent](https://www.bttr.reviews/lg-and-will-i-am-expand-xboom-speakers/).

### Home appliances get big upgrades

- [LG's Signature Fridge is getting conversational AI](https://www.bttr.reviews/lgs-signature-fridge-ces2026/) so you can talk to it about dinner. I don't know why.
- [Samsung's Bespoke AI appliances are getting performance improvements](https://www.bttr.reviews/samsungs-2026-bespoke-ai-lineup-gets-smarter-laundry-cooling-and-cleaning/). I'm very intrigued by the updated AirDresser.
- [Roborock's stair-climbing robot is clearly the best solution to managing multi-story homes](https://www.bttr.reviews/roborocks-stair-climbing-saros-rover/), though we don't know when it will see the light of day.
- [Ecovacs has pool cleaners, new vacuums and upgraded robot lawnmowers](https://www.bttr.reviews/ecovacs-expands-robot-empire/) that will trim your edges. Keen.
- [Dreame is trying to integrate more completely with your home](https://www.bttr.reviews/dreame-unveils-ai-powered-smart-home/), but will be bringing its next flagship vacuum to Australia soon.

### On the computing front...

- [Aussie company espresso Displays has a new budget 15-inch screen coming](https://www.bttr.reviews/espresso-displays-launches-colourful-lite-15/), and it will be available in a range of colours.
- [LG has 5K AI upscaling monitors](https://www.bttr.reviews/lg-launches-ultragear-evo-gaming-monitors/) launching this year.
- [Acer upgraded seemingly every laptop in its portfolio](https://www.bttr.reviews/acers-ces-2026-laptop-blitz/).
- [Insta360 announced a pair of new high-end webcams](https://www.bttr.reviews/insta360-launches-new-webcams/).
- Dell tried to undo its silly decision to kill off the XPS brand last year, by [bringing it back this year](https://www.bttr.reviews/dell-brings-back-xps/).
- [ASUS has a pretty epic update of its range](https://www.bttr.reviews/asus-ces-2026/), including a partnership with GoPro, of all companies. Makes more sense to me than the [BAPE collab.](https://www.bttr.reviews/asus-vivobook-s-15-oled-bape-edition-k5504-review/)
- [HP has also updated most of its range](https://www.bttr.reviews/hp-refreshes-laptop-lineup/). But the real interesting part is that it has [consolidated its gaming brands under the HyperX umbrella.](https://www.bttr.reviews/hp-hyperx-gaming-brand/)

### And the other stuff...

- The [new Withings Body Scan 2 will track over 60 health indicators in a 90 second scan](https://www.bttr.reviews/withings-body-scan-2-announced/). How much data is too much data, I wonder?
- [SmartThings will work with Matter cameras this month](https://www.bttr.reviews/samsung-smartthings-matter15/). That should make running a smart home a bit easier.
- [LG showed off a humanoid robot called CLOiD](https://www.bttr.reviews/lgs-cloid-home-robot/) that does laundry and cooks, apparently. I don't think it will ever happen.
- [Reolink has announced a home AI Box that brings AI to your home security network locally](https://www.bttr.reviews/reolinks-new-ai-box/), for security and convenience.
- [Lego has launched a Smart Brick](https://www.bttr.reviews/lego-smart-play/), which adds interactivity to Lego sets. This is probably the most exciting announcement of the whole show for me, if I'm being honest.
- [Belkin has a new Qi2 multi-charger that can charge any brand of smartwatch](https://www.bttr.reviews/belkins-ces-2026-lineup/), because you connect it to the supplied puck you get with your wearable. Plus a bunch of other chargers, of course!

That's it for this week. Thanks for reading!
