The home security market in Australia is about to get a whole lot more competitive, with one of the global leaders in smart home cameras, EZVIZ, launching a whole new range of products.

The new lineup extends well beyond cameras, with video doorbells, smart locks and home control screens all making an appearance.

It's the brand's most expansive Australian range to date, giving people a way into a proper smart home security ecosystem without locking them into ongoing subscription costs.

Every outdoor battery camera in the launch range comes with a 16GB microSD card included, so local storage is there from the moment you open the box.

Leading the charge is the HB90 Dual Kit, a dual-lens outdoor camera available in battery or solar-powered versions.

Where most dual-lens cameras have one fixed wide-angle lens and one that moves, the HB90 has two independently rotating cameras that work together to cover a much larger area.

It also introduces EZVIZ's Always-On Video (AOV) technology, which is designed to record time-lapse motion all day, switching to normal-speed recording only when it detects movement. This means you get a fuller picture of what happened around your property through the day, rather than a string of disconnected motion clips.

The EP8 Ultra video doorbell is the other headline device, offering a main 3K camera, partnered with a second downward-facing lens that watches the doorstep itself, kind of like the [Eufy E340 Dual Cam Solo Video Doorbell](https://www.bttr.reviews/eufy-e340-dual-cam-solo-video-doorbell-review/).

It also has package-removal detection, an interactive touchscreen for two-way video calls with whoever's at the door, and an AI voice changer if you'd rather not let a stranger know exactly who's home.

Rounding out the range is the 360-degree HB8 Lite outdoor camera, the S10 indoor video calling camera (which doubles as a photo frame and Bluetooth speaker), the DL50FVX smart lock with facial and palm recognition, and the SD7 smart home control screen, a 7-inch touchscreen hub for managing everything without reaching for your phone.

Jock Jones, EZVIZ's Australian Country Manager, said the range is about giving people control without the usual trade-offs.

> *"Australians have enormous choice when it comes to smart home security, but often that choice comes with ongoing subscription costs and compromises around how and when a camera records,"* he said. *"We believe consumers should be able to buy a great security product and immediately access the features that make it useful without feeling locked into a monthly bill, while introducing technologies such as Always-On Video that challenge what consumers should expect from battery-powered home security."*

EZVIZ has been named the World's No. 1 Smart Home Camera Brand based on 2025 shipment data from IDC, and the company says it puts more than 14% of its annual revenue into R&D.

On the privacy front, the range includes the usual protections you'd want to see, including AES and TLS encryption, physical camera shutters, privacy zones and additional authentication controls.
