BTTR Roundup #64: How big is too big for a TV?

I've done the maths, and technically speaking, I could fit Samsung's 115-inch behemoth television set into my lounge room. It would almost completely cover the wall where my current TV is mounted, but that's the price you pay for a giant TV, right?

The issue, I think, is that TV's aren't meant to fill the entire wall. They are meant to act like a frame, a window into another world of entertainment.

Funnily enough, the day I wrote up my review of the Samsung 115-inch model, LG sent me its 77-inch G5 OLED to review. It's currently set up on its stand in front of my usual 65-inch panel, and I think it's a pretty good size for the space.

How big is your TV? Are you looking to go bigger? Let me know about it in the comments below!

It was a fairly quiet week on the news front this week – or maybe I was just a bit distracted – but I managed to get three reviews out the door. Time got the better of me in the end, so I'm skipping the deep dive for paid readers this week, and making this week's Roundup available for all members.

Until next week
