LG's 2025 TVs are here, and there are a lot of them
LG has announced its full 2025 lineup of TVs for Australia, and there are a lot of different models to look at.

LG doesn't like doing its TV launches in half measures. The past couple of years have been the same: dozens of models shown off in March, with more premium models arriving towards the end of the year.
This year's lineup is no exception. There's the usual gamut of OLED TVs, QNED TVs and a random assortment of gaming monitors and the weird (but awesome) TVs LG has been pioneering, like its StanbyME range.
Let's take a look at what's on the menu for 2025, shall we?
Let's start with OLED. Like previous years, there are four OLED families to choose from, starting with the budget OLED B5 family, stepping up to the mid-range OLED evo C5 to the premium OLED evo G5 to the premium wireless OLED evo M5 range.
The G5 and M5 families share a lot of the same specs, with the obvious difference that the M5 has a wireless transmission box that you can place anywhere and wirelessly beam your content to the panel.
“At LG we understand that the way Australians are consuming entertainment is evolving. While traditional viewing habits are shifting, the demand for premium entertainment experiences remains strong. That’s why we’re committed to offering an entertainment range that not only delivers the outstanding picture quality and innovative features but also provides seamless access to the content Australians love.
"We’re proud to continue our OLED leadership and offer a smart TV platform in webOS that is intuitive, easy to use and available on more products – from TVs and portable screens to monitors and projectors. And this year, we’re taking that experience even further with integrated AI capabilities, from picture processing to content recommendations. With our 2025 TV lineup, we’re making premium entertainment more accessible than ever, ensuring that every Australian can enjoy the best possible viewing experience, tailored to their needs and preferences.”

I'll break down sizing later, but the G5 and M5 are both powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2, with a bunch of AI features for upscaling picture and sound quality, including adapting the refresh rate based on what's on the panel.
The C5 OLED is powered by the Alpha 9 Gen 8 Processor, offers brightness booster and Dolby Vision support. You also get HDMI 2.1 and a variable refresh rate, making it ideal for gamers.
Finally, the B5 family is powered by the Alpha 8 AI Processor, supports Dolby Vision and HDMI 2.1 and starts at a much more wallet-friendly price.
In an added boost, 2025 OLED eco panels will soon get support for Xbox Cloud gaming, letting you enjoy console games without a console.
LG also has a range of QNED panels, which offer larger screens at a lower price, yet still deliver 4K images. Even the entry level nano cell family of TVs offers 4K.
