Sony today confirmed that the all new slim PS5 console it announced back in October is landing in Australia on December 6 and is available for preorder. That's going to be a popular Christmas gift, that's for sure.
The new slim PS5 consoles come in two versions: one with a disc drive, and a digital-only version that you can add a disc drive to later. Both models come with 1TB of storage.
There are also a couple of bundles, which include two controllers, making it the perfect Christmas gifts for your kids (or you and your partner).
You can pre-order the console today, with product arriving on store shelves on December 6. You can preorder the PS5 Slim from Amazon, EB Games, JB Hi-Fi, The Gamesmen and Big W. Pricing is as follows:

- PS5 Digital Edition – $679.95
- PlayStation 5 Console (Slim) Two DualSense Wireless Controllers Bundle – $889
