Samsung's big Galaxy Event unveiled the S25 FE
Samsung has launched its S25 FE smartphone, with pricing starting at $1,099.

Samsung's big Galaxy event this week turned out to be a fairly low key launch, unveiling the latest in the company's "Fan Edition" range. The S25 FE.
Starting at $1,099 for 128 GB, the S25 FE follows the trend of previous FE models, by bringing in some of the cooler tech from the S25 family into a more affordable unit.
From a pure specs perspective, you get a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits peak brightness.
There's a 4,900 mAh battery, which is a nice boost from last year's S24 FE, and 45W fast charging if you spring for the fast charger. It does support Qi2 with a case, but that's not quite the same as having Qi2 support, is it?
The phone is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, and has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
The cameras have had a boost this year. The main lens is a 50MP wide, and it's partnered with a 12 MP Ultra-Wide and an 8MP telephoto with a 3x optical zoom.
The selfie camera is an improved 12MP snapper with an 80Âș field of view.
The phone will hit stores on 26 September, at $1,099 for the 128 GB model, $1,199 for the 256 GB and $1,399 for the 512 GB version. It comes in Icy Blue, Jet Black or Navy colour options.
