Last year AEG launched its SapphirMatt cooktop, which was the result of an epic 10 year journey. This year, AEG is expanding its kitchen lineup with a range of new appliances that combine the sleek design aesthetic of the SapphirMatt with innovative functionality.

There is a whole range of new products to consider, from innovative AI-powered steam ovens to whisper quiet dishwashers and stunning 6-star energy-rated fridges.

The launch represents AEG's most extensive kitchen range introduction in Australia to date, spanning every major kitchen category and marking the long-awaited return of AEG refrigeration to the Australian market after a significant absence.

"This launch redefines what's possible in the kitchen," says Dominic Wong, Category Manager – Taste, Electrolux ANZ. "The kitchen has always been the centrepiece of the home — and the new range ensures it also becomes the most intelligent and visually refined space in the house."

All products feature AEG's signature black colourway and refined Berlin-inspired design, creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout the kitchen. Sustainability remains central to the collection, with models incorporating recycled materials and energy-efficient technologies.

AEG's AI-powered oven

AI-Connected Ovens with professional features

The hero oven model, the NBP9S83PAT, delivers professional-level performance through its CookSmart Touch+ interface, which offers guided recipes and step-by-step instructions on a smart display. The AI-assisted cooking feature allows users to send recipes directly to their oven through the AEG App, which automatically adjusts settings for precise results.

The SteamPro function enables users to bake, roast, and steam with versatile cooking modes including steam, sous-vide, and combined cooking techniques, bringing professional kitchen capabilities into the home.

Sustainable refrigeration

AEG's new fridges focus heavily on sustainability. The hero model, the OSC7P19ACF, achieves a six-star energy rating while offering 45 per cent more capacity than the brand's standard-size fridge. The construction incorporates up to 70 per cent recycled plastic in the inner cavity and 15 per cent recycled plastic overall, balancing environmental responsibility with functionality.

Advanced features keep ingredients fresh and hygienic, supporting the brand's focus on helping home chefs achieve professional results.

AEG's new Sapphirmatt cooktop

FlexiBridge cooktops with SapphirMatt surface

Building on last year's SapphirMatt innovation, the new cooktop range (hero model NIK95I00FZ) features the FlexiBridge function, allowing users to customise their cooking area for larger pans or multiple dishes.

The PowerSlide function enables effortless movement between sear, simmer, and hold temperatures.

The SaphirMatt AntiScratch surface offers superior durability and resistance to everyday wear compared to standard ceramic hobs, maintaining its sleek appearance over time.

Whisper-quiet dishwashers

The new dishwasher range, led by the FBF9433SBA, focuses on convenience and quiet operation. ComfortLift technology raises the lower basket for easier loading and unloading, while the ExtraSilent programme operates at just 44dB(A) – quieter than a typical library.

AirDry technology maximises drying performance through natural airflow, improving energy efficiency by automatically opening the door at the end of the cycle to allow moisture to escape naturally.

Availability

The new AEG range is available now through authorised retailers. Fridges are open for pre-order with deliveries commencing from 15 December 2025.
