Even a few years after it first arrived, magnetic wireless charging like MagsSafe or Qi2 is one of my favourite smartphone features. Which is why I was so shocked that Samsung decided not to include the magnets in its new lineup of Galaxy S26 smartphones.
Like previous generations, while the phones support faster wireless charging speeds, the magnetic alignment is exclusively available through accessories.

Bringing Qi2 to the Galaxy
While Samsung has opted not to build magnets directly into the Galaxy S26 chassis, Belkin is filling that void with its SHEERFORCE case collection.
These cases are ‘Designed for Samsung’ certified, meaning they meet strict internal standards for fit and safety.
The standout feature here is the integrated magnet array, which allows the S26 to take advantage of the Qi2 wireless charging standard at 25W.
This provides the "snap-on" convenience we’ve seen on iPhones, ensuring the phone is perfectly aligned with the charging coil every time.
Tougher materials and smarter glass
Beyond power, Belkin is leaning heavily into "Nano-Titan" technology for its protection range. This refers to a material infusion designed to improve shock absorption and heat dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining battery health during fast charging sessions.
The Titan EcoGuard ($49.95) uses a flexible polymer that absorbs impact rather than cracking like traditional tempered glass, while the Titan SmartShield ($39.95) offers a rigid 9H hardness for those who prefer a glass feel.
Both are verified to work with Samsung’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, which often struggle with third-party protectors.
One Dock for the Ecosystem
For those fully immersed in the Android camp, the UltraCharge Modular Charging Dock ($119.95) acts as a central hub. It handles the 25W Qi2 charging for the S26 while providing space for earbuds and a smartwatch.
It features a clever "bring-your-own-puck" design for the watch charger, ensuring that regardless of which Galaxy Watch or third-party wearable you use, the dock remains compatible.
