I find the week of back to school a bittersweet time of year. After six weeks of hanging out with your kids over summer, you're kind of ready for them to go back to school to get their brains back into gear.
But back to school means lots of shopping. Uniforms and textbooks, obviously, but also things like headphones, laptops and accessories. It can get really expensive.
The good news is that back to school also makes it a good time for anyone to upgrade their computing gear. Lots of retailers offer discounts, so if you shop around, you can save a decent amount, like this 14-inch ASUS laptop at the Good Guys, where you can save over $500.
