Espresso Display's 15-inch Pro is available now for $1,099
Announced back at CES, the espresso Display 15 Pro is now available in Australia, though stocks may be limited.
Aussie monitor company espresso displays makes good screens. I know this because I've tested both the 15 Touch and the 15-inch non-touch models. Both screens are game changers for portable multi-screen productivity.
But they are a bit limited for creatives. They lack the specs required for people who need premium performance in their displays. So back at CES, espresso announced the 15 Pro model.
And today, that 15 Pro monitor is finally available to purchase.
As a quick recap, the 15 Pro brings 4K resolution and 550 nits of brightness to the 15-inch monitor space. Yet the extra power required for those specs is still managed by a single USB-C cable.
It supports 100% Adobe RGB colour, with support for 1.07 billion colours, mking it a great option for photo and video editing on the go.
The screen itself measures 15.6-inch on the diagonal, with the monitor coming in at just 9mm thick. That's a slight increase over the standard 15 monitor, but that's to be expected given the spec bump.
The screen offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate, and will ship with the ergonomic Stand+, which was honestly one of the best things about the Display 15 when I reviewed that earlier this year. Being able to mount a second monitor comfortably above a laptop's monitor for easy multi-tasking ios a game-changer.
Pricing and availability
The espresso Display 15 Pro is available from espresso's online store today, with an RRP of $1,099. That includes the monitor and the excellent Stand+.
The Display 15 Pro will also be launching in JB Hi-Fi in the near future.
