espresso Displays launches colourful Lite 15 portable monitor range

I'm a big fan of Aussie company espresso Displays' portable monitors While my absolute favourite has been the 15 Pro - with that particular model being one of my favourite gadgets of 2025 - both the 15 Touch and the standard 15 got great reviews when I tested them out.

While the screen tech in all of the screens is fantastic, there hasn't really been a lot of variety in terms of colour for those wanting a portable display. Until now.

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, espresso Displays has unveiled the Lite 15, a new entry-level portable monitor that brings some much-needed personality to the range through a bold colour palette.

Available in white, black, mint, orange, and purple, the Lite 15 is clearly aimed at people who want their work setup to reflect their personal style.

The Lite 15 sits at the entry point of espresso's lineup, positioned below the standard Display 15, Touch 15, and the Pro 15 and 17 models. At US$249 (there's no Aussie pricing just yet), it's designed to make the portable monitor experience accessible to a broader audience without compromising on the fundamentals that have made espresso's other displays so good.

Despite the lower price point, the Lite 15 still packs in solid specs. You're getting a 15.6-inch Full HD (1080p) display with 100% sRGB colour coverage and 400 nits of brightness – bright enough for most working environments.

The panel is housed in a lightweight ABS plastic design that weighs just 700 grams, and it's powered by a single USB-C cable that draws a maximum of 5 watts, so it won't drain your laptop battery too quickly.

"So many people are now discovering the value of portable monitors, which is why we're launching Lite 15 to meet the needs of a much broader audience," said Will Scuderi, CEO and co-founder of espresso Displays. "Lite 15 delivers great value and quality, while adding personality through its bold colour range."

The Lite 15 also comes with espresso's magnetic Stand+, which has been updated with a lighter design for easier portability. The dual USB-C ports have been repositioned to a central location with power passthrough, which should make for cleaner cable management.

Initially, a limited number of Lite 15 monitors will be available through Amazon US, with Australian, European, and other market availability to be announced soon. Pricing for the Australian market hasn't been confirmed yet, but we'll update when that information becomes available.

For anyone who's been curious about portable monitors but hasn't wanted to commit to the higher price points of the Pro or Touch models, the Lite 15 looks like it could be the perfect entry point, especially if you've been waiting for something other than black or grey.
