If you've been holding off on a laptop upgrade, Acer's CES 2026 lineup might finally give you a reason to pull the trigger.

The Taiwanese tech giant has just announced an absolutely massive refresh across its entire computer range, from premium ultraportables to gaming rigs, all powered by Intel's new Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

Let's start with the flagship stuff, because Acer's really gone all-out.

Swift 16 AI: The world's biggest haptic touchpad

The Swift 16 AI is Acer's new top-tier laptop, and its party trick is the world's largest haptic touchpad.

At 175.5 x 109.7mm, this thing is absolutely massive, and it supports stylus input so that creators can sketch, animate, and edit directly on the touchpad itself.

Beyond the touchpad, you're getting a 16-inch 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor with Intel Arc B390 graphics. Battery life looks promising too – Acer claims up to 24 hours of video playback.

The Swift 16 AI will arrive in Australia in Q1 2026 starting at $2,599.

Swift Edge: Under 1kg and military-grade tough

The Swift Edge 14 AI weighs under 1 kg, while still packing MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability. It's built with a stainless steel-magnesium alloy chassis and measures just 13.95 mm thick.

Both the 14-inch and 16-inch Swift Edge models feature OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, Intel Core Ultra 7 processors, and Acer's new multi-control touchpads for managing media and presentations.

The 16-inch version will start at $1,999 when it arrives in Q2 2026, while pricing for the 14-inch model is still TBA.

Swift Go: The everyday AI workhorses

For those who want solid performance without the flagship price tag, the Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI offer Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processors, OLED displays, and full 180-degree hinges.

These are positioned as the sweet spot for students and young professionals who need reliable performance for hybrid work and study.

Pricing starts at $1,999 for the Swift Go 14 AI and $2,499 for the 16-inch model, both arriving in Q2 2026.

Gaming gets serious upgrades

Acer's gaming lineup has also received the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 treatment, paired with Nvidia's new GeForce RTX 50-series laptop GPUs.

The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI packs up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and RTX 5070 GPU into an 18.9mm metal chassis.

You get a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, and Acer's 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D cooling with liquid metal thermal paste. This one starts at $3,599 in Q2 2026.

For more budget-conscious gamers, the Nitro V 16 AI offers up to Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processors and RTX 5070 GPUs, with pricing still to be announced.

The new Acer Aspire AI laptop

Aspire: Entry-level gets AI features

Even Acer's mainstream Aspire range is getting the AI treatment. The Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI feature Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processors, WUXGA displays with 120Hz refresh rates, and full 180-degree hinges.

These are clearly targeted at students and home users who want modern AI features without spending big.

The Aspire 14 AI will start at $1,699 in Q2 2026.

Desktops for business

It's not all laptops, though. Acer has also launched a comprehensive new range of Veriton desktops for business users.

The standout is the Veriton RA100 AI Mini Workstation, a Copilot+ PC powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processors. This little powerhouse can handle up to 120 billion parameters for AI workloads, making it ideal for running local AI models, generative AI, 3D design, and content creation.

It supports up to 128GB of quad-channel LPDDR5X memory and up to 4TB of storage. Australian pricing is still TBA.

The Veriton Vero 4000 and 6000 all-in-one desktops combine Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 2 processors with 23.8-inch Full HD 144Hz touch displays, all built using post-consumer recycled materials.

These start at $1,899 (Vero 4000, Q2 2026) and $1,999 (Vero 6000, Q3 2026).

For smaller businesses, the Veriton 2000 all-in-one offers Intel Core Ultra 7 processors in a 23.8-inch form factor, starting at $1,499 in Q1 2026.

The AI angle

Every single one of these devices is a Copilot+ PC, which means they all feature NPUs capable of at least 45 AI TOPS for on-device AI processing.

You'll get features like Live Captions with real-time translation, Click to Do for context-aware actions, and access to Copilot Voice and Vision.

Acer has also bundled its own suite of AI tools across the range, including PurifiedVoice for noise cancellation, PurifiedView for video clarity, User Sensing for automatic screen locking, and a customisable "My Key" programmable hotkey.
