The Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 is a beautifully designed, high-performance charging dock that delivers wireless charging speeds as fast as wired. If you’re a dedicated Apple user looking for a single, attractive station for your desk or bedside, the premium price is justifiable for the build quality and sheer speed.
- Fast 25W Qi2 charging speed
- Sleek, compact, and premium design
- Adjustable phone angle for StandBy Mode
- Expensive compared to Belkin's other Qi2 models
- Apple Watch charger isn't universal
- 5W base charger is very slow for a second phone
One of my favourite discoveries back in 2023 with the arrival of iOS 17 and the iPhone 15 was Apple’s Standby mode. In particular, it was reviewing the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 that highlighted that the iPhone – alongside the right MagSafe accessory – was also the best alarm clock you could buy.
Belkin’s UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Dock is essentially just a newer version of the BoostCharge dock I reviewed, with an updated design and the added benefit of being one of the first devices on the market to support the new Qi2 25W standard.
Belkin claims this charger can take your iPhone from 0 to 50% in just 25 minutes, matching the speed of a wired connection.
This performance, combined with its highly polished metal and sleek silicone finish, firmly places it in the premium category, which, as expected, comes with a premium price tag of $219.95.
But is it worth the price tag? Yeah, I think so.

What makes the Belkin UltraCharge Pro stand out?
The single most significant feature here is the upgrade to the Qi2 25W charging standard. This is the next generation of wireless charging and allows for magnetic alignment and power delivery up to 25W.
It makes wireless charging feel just as fast and reliable as plugging in a cable.
The UltraCharge Pro is a true 3-in-1 solution, featuring three distinct charging points. The first is the Qi2 magnetic phone charger, which has an adjustable arm for your phone and delivers fast 25W charging speeds with compatible devices.
The magnetic connection is solid and ensures perfect coil alignment every time, and the charger lies flat for phones that support wireless charging but don’t offer the magnetic attachment.
The second is the Apple Watch fast charger on the back of the dock. It supports Apple Watch fast charging (Series 7 and later), which is essential for quickly giving your watch some extra juice. Placing the watch here also helps keep the overall footprint compact.
Finally, there’s the AirPods/Base Charger (Qi 5W): The weighted base features a shallow divot for AirPods or another small Qi-compatible device, outputting 5W. You can fit another phone on there potentially, but it does only offer the slow 5W charging speeds, making it better suited for wireless earbuds.
The other unique feature is Belkin’s “ChillBoost”, an active cooling technology that uses a fan to help keep your phone from overheating while charging.
High-speed wireless charging generates heat, which can slow down the charging process and potentially impact long-term battery health. The main Qi2 charger of this dock includes a small, quiet fan inside.
When you switch it on using the switch at the back, it helps regulate the temperature and keeps your phone roughly 7 degrees cooler during fast charging sessions.
While the fan is remarkably quiet, in the silence of the night, it can be a little distracting next to your bed, so it’s good that Belkin lets you switch it off if charging overnight.

Design and build quality
I really love the design of the UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1. It has a luxurious aesthetic, but is compact and robust.
The colour-matched silicone finish is warm and modern, while the metal arm for the phone is highly polished and feels incredibly sturdy. It folds up to hold a compatible phone in portrait or landscape mode magnetically, or folds down flat for non-magnetic devices.
The base is weighted, which prevents the whole unit from lifting up when you grab your phone off the magnetic charger.
Belkin also includes a 45W GaN power supply unit (PSU) for the UltraCharge Pro. This tiny, high-efficiency charger brick is surprisingly small and shows Belkin didn't cheap out on the necessary accessories. The build quality and attention to detail are what you’re paying the premium for.

Performance
Performance is where the UltraCharge Pro shines brightest, especially for iPhone users. The 25W charging works exactly as advertised, making it genuinely convenient.
It’s important to point out that the "UltraCharge Pro" designation feels aimed squarely at the Apple ecosystem.
While the main phone pad is Qi2 and compatible with Android devices that have magnetic charging cases (like the latest Samsung Galaxy or Pixel phones), the dedicated watch charger is strictly for the Apple Watch.
If you’re an Android user with a Samsung Galaxy Watch or a Google Pixel Watch, that charging spot is useless, and there's no spare USB-C port to plug in an alternative charger. And no matter how hard you try, those devices won’t charge via this dock.
The 5W base charger is perfectly fine for AirPods, getting them to 100% overnight. However, if you attempt to charge a second phone here, the 5W output will be noticeably slow, limiting its utility for power users with two phones.
The inclusion of the ChillBoost fan is a considerable benefit for those who frequently use their phone while charging or who are worried about battery longevity.
The ability to simply flick a switch and know your device is charging as fast and cool as possible is excellent peace of mind.

Verdict
The Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 is one of the best multi-device charging docks on the market, period. It’s beautifully designed, feels incredibly well-built, and delivers genuinely revolutionary charging speeds thanks to the Qi2 25W certification.
At $219.95, it is a significant investment, especially when Belkin sells other, slightly less powerful Qi2 models for less. That said, the extra cost buys you a bespoke, luxurious design, a tiny GaN power brick, and the convenience of a single, powerful station.
If you are already heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem (using an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods), the UltraCharge Pro is a great accessory that delivers on every promise.
For Android users, the lack of a universal watch charger (as well as the limited number of Qi2-compatible Android phones) makes the 3-in-1 an expensive product that won’t really cater to your needs, though it will still look good.
Buy the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 if:
- You use an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods and want a single, fast charging station.
- You want wireless charging speeds that match wired charging.
- A premium, sturdy design is a priority for your desk or bedside.
Skip the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 if:
- You use an Android smartwatch
- Price is your main concern, as there are cheaper Qi2 alternatives available.
- You require a charger that is easily foldable or highly portable.
Where to buy

Frequently asked questions
What makes Qi2 25W different from standard wireless charging?
Qi2 is the latest standard for wireless charging and allows for two main improvements over older Qi chargers: Magnetic Alignment and Faster Power Delivery. The Belkin UltraCharge Pro uses Qi2 25W certification, meaning it can deliver up to 25W of power to compatible iPhones (iPhone 13 and newer), matching the charging speed of a wired connection. Older standards were often capped at 7.5W or 15W for iPhones.
Can I charge my Android phone on this dock?
Yes, the main charging pad uses the Qi2 standard, which is backward compatible with other Qi devices, including many Android phones. However, to benefit from the magnetic alignment and the full 25W fast charging speed, your Android phone must also support the Qi2 standard and/or be placed inside a compatible magnetic (MagSafe/Qi2) case.
What is ChillBoost Active Cooling, and does the fan make noise?
ChillBoost Active Cooling is Belkin's proprietary technology featuring a small, internal smart fan. High-speed wireless charging generates heat, which can slow down charging performance. The fan helps regulate the device temperature, keeping your phone cooler (up to 7ºC cooler according to Belkin) to maintain optimal charging speeds. The fan is designed to be quiet, but it can be switched on or off via a toggle switch for use in quiet spaces like a bedroom.
Does this dock include a power adapter?
Yes, the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 comes complete with a high-efficiency 45W USB-C Power Supply Unit (PSU) and a 1.5m braided USB-C to USB-C cable. You do not need to purchase any additional power accessories to use the dock.
Will the dock fast charge my Apple Watch?
Yes, the dedicated charging module for the Apple Watch supports Apple Watch Fast Charging (required for Series 7 and newer). Belkin claims it can charge a compatible Apple Watch from 0-80% in about 30 minutes.
Can I charge three devices at maximum speed simultaneously?
You can charge three devices simultaneously, but only the phone charging module delivers up to 25W. The charging outputs are tiered: up to 25W for the phone, Fast Charge for the Apple Watch, and up to 5W for the base charging pad (designed for AirPods). While all three charge simultaneously, the total power is prioritised based on the device's requirements.
