LG's partnership with Will.I.Am is now in its second year, and the company is doubling down with a range of new Bluetooth speakers offering AI-powered personalised tuning.
Announced for CES 2026, the expanded xboom lineup adds four new models to last year's Stage 301, Bounce, and Grab speakers. Each one targets different use cases, from all-night parties to rugged outdoor adventures, but they all share LG's AI-driven approach to audio.
Across the range is FYI.RAiDiO, an AI DJ system that lets you have two-way conversations with ten different AI personas. These virtual DJs provide real-time music curation that adapts based on your location and context. You can access it through a dedicated button on the speakers or via the FYI.RAiDiO app.
All four new models also include AI Sound, which analyses what you're listening to and automatically adjusts EQ settings to emphasise melody, rhythm, or vocals depending on the content. Then there's AI Lighting, which syncs multicoloured bar lights to your music for a bit of visual flair at parties.

The new lineup
xboom Stage 501 is the party speaker of the bunch, packing up to 220W of power when plugged in (160W on battery).
The real drawcard here is AI Karaoke Master, which uses deep learning trained on over 10,000 songs to remove or adjust vocals from virtually any track.
You can sing solo, duet with the artist, or dial down the vocals if you're feeling a bit shy, with no special karaoke files or subscriptions required.
It runs for up to 25 hours on its 99Wh swappable battery, and the five-sided cabinet design means you can set it up vertically, horizontally, tilted, or even tripod-mounted. Dual woofers, full-range drivers, and Peerless tweeters handle the audio duties.
xboom Blast is designed for the outdoors, offering a massive 35 hours of playback from its 99Wh battery.
It pumps out 220W and includes three passive radiators for extended bass. Military-standard durability testing and edge bumpers mean it should handle beach trips, camping, and backyard gatherings without complaint.
The side rope handle lets you hold it vertically to navigate through crowds more easily, while the rubber top handle offers a quick-carry option.
xboom Mini is a compact cube that delivers 10 hours of playback. Despite the smaller size, it includes Sound Field Enhance to maintain clarity in open spaces.
IP67 water and dust resistance means it'll survive kitchen splashes or poolside use, and there's a built-in tripod mount if you want to get creative with placement. The Magic Strap makes it easy to hang or attach wherever you need it.
xboom Rock is essentially an upgraded version of LG's XG2 model, now with increased power up to 6W. It's built for proper outdoor adventures, tested to seven military standards and offers 10 hours of playback.
Sound Field Enhance keeps the audio quality consistent across open spaces, while LE Audio Auracast lets you connect multiple speakers for group listening. A smart button provides quick app control.
Both the Stage 501 and Blast models include Space Calibration Pro, which analyses the speaker's surroundings and adapts the audio output accordingly. It's designed to deliver consistent, room-filling sound whether you're indoors or outside.
"We are turning sound into a living, learning experience," said Will.I.Am. "With FYI.RAiDiO and AI personas, xboom by Will.I.Am speakers offer a glimpse into a new way of enjoying audio experience through an inspiring cultural connection with AI."
The new xboom by Will.I.Am speakers will roll out globally throughout 2026. LG hasn't announced Australian pricing or availability yet, but I'll share the information when LG makes a local announcement.
