Roborock's new F25 wet-dry vacuum promises to keep your hard floors pristine

Unveiled at CES, Roborock has officially introduced its F25 and F25 Ace wet-dry vacuums in Australia.

The Roborock F25 cleaning up a mess under a table on a wooden floor

Thanks to robot vacuum cleaners, I rarely clean my floors manually anymore. But when I do, I want the process to be as easy as possible. Given most of my home is vinyl floorboards, a wet-dry vacuum is a good option for me.

The new Roborock F25 seems like a solid entry into this market. With 20,000 Pa of suction power and over 20N of downward pressure, the F25 promises to clean your floors quickly and efficiently.

According to Roborock, the F25 Series can remove 99.9% of bacteria from your floor. The roller incorporates "JawScrapers" technology, which effectively acts as a hair de-tangler to help prevent streaks on the floor.

“Cleaning the floors is one of those tasks that just never seems to end. Our research shows that many Australians would happily never do it again – 27% say they’d skip it entirely if they could, and nearly one in five want to avoid vacuuming and mopping altogether. We get it.

That’s why we designed the F25 Series to do the hard work for you. It handles wet and dry messes in one go, untangles hair before it becomes a problem, and even cleans itself. The idea is to let the F25 Series do the work, so you don’t have to.”

– Richard Chang, Founder & CEO of Roborock.

The F25 can lay flat to reach under furniture – which is a problem I've faced while reviewing wet-dry vacuums in the past – sitting at just 12.5 cm high when laying flat. The F25 can clean to under 1mm from the edge of the floor, and swivels up to 70 degrees to help get around obstacles.

The F25 Series will automatically clean and dry its roller after use, using 90ºC hot air to dry the roller within five minutes.

If you want premium manoeuvrability, the F25 Ace has dual-brushless motorised wheels for individual wheel control for smooth turns in tight locations, regardless of whether you're pushing or pulling.

The Ace version also offers notifications and updates through voice alers, and an automatic detergent dispenser, that detects dirt levels and increases the detergent to help clean it more easily.

Pricing and availability

The Roborock F25 is available in Australia now for $699 RRP, whereas the F25 ACE will be available in March for $999 RRP.

The F25 Series will be available on Roborock Australia’s official retail channels, such as Roborock’s Official Online Store, JB Hifi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Bing Lee, and other Authorised Retailers.
