The Razer Kishi Ultra mobile gaming controller actually feels like a proper controller
After unboxing and testing several mobile game controllers, the Razer Kishi Ultra is the first to feel more like a gaming controller than a mobile accessory.

I've been unboxing mobile gaming controllers all week (and still have a couple to come later today), but the Razer Kishi Ultra already stands apart from the GTEK and the ASUS ROG Tessen.
While you might be hard pressed to see much difference in style between the different models, the Kishi Ultra feels much more like a controller than a mobile accessory.
A big part of that is the size. It's chunky in the hand, particularly when compared against the ROG Tessen or the BackBone One. The handles fit the palms of your hand just like an Xbox One controller does.
The triggers are tighter, and the buttons feel more assured as well. While I've really only played with this over the weekend, I can say that the Hishi feels a bit more responsive, which means I'm performing a bit better in competitive games like Call of Duty: Mobile.
The Kishi Ultra is also the first I've tested with haptic feedback, though its' not massively noticeable like a Dualsense controller.
And like the Backbone One, Razer has its own games launcher that makes accessing your mobile games a bit easier. It's pretty responsive, and works well across a number of games on both iOS and Android.
With 15W passthrough charging and a wired 3.5mm headphone jack, the Razer Kishi Ultra has taken an early lead as my favourite gaming controller. I'll get a full review up in the next week or two.
