You can now watch Apple TV Plus on Android devices
Apple TV Plus launched way back in 2019. More than five years later, Apple has launched an Android app for its streaming TV service.

Apple has always loved its walled garden approach. To get the Apple software, you need to buy Apple hardware.
Even when it stepped outside of that, by launching iTunes for Windows to support the massive success of the iPod, for example, you still always got a better experience on a Mac.
I wonder if that's going to be the same situation now that Cupertino has finally, after more than five years, launched an Apple TV app for Android.
On the new app, Android users can subscribe to Apple TV+ entertainment and the MLS Season Pass using their Google Play account. They can also take advantage of the Apple TV+ 7-day free trial.
Built from the ground up for Android, the new app promises to work with other Apple TV+ devices, so you can continue watching a program from where you left it off, or download episodes of Ted Lasso for offline viewing.
The app itself is purely to access Apple TV+ or the MLS, though. If you have movies purchased in your iTunes library, you can't access them through the new app, unfortunately.
But with its selection of unique award-winning programming, maybe that's okay. If you're an Android user who wants to watch an Apple TV Plus TV show or movie, an Apple V+ subscription will set you back $12.99 per month.
