There's been a huge influx of brands launching wet/dry vacuums over the past few years, but Tineco has always been the loudest and proudest about it here in Australia. And now the company has the global recognition to back it up.
Market research firm Euromonitor International has officially named Tineco the world’s number one household wet and dry vacuum brand for the fourth consecutive year.
The data reveals that Tineco held a dominant 35% global market share in 2025, supported by a user base that has grown to over 24 million people worldwide.
While many brands have tried to replicate the "mop and vac" formula, Tineco has prioritised local availability and specific technologies that tackle common frustrations like hair tangles and dirty rollers.
A key part of this success is the brand’s proprietary MHCBS (Maintain Hygiene Clean Brush System).
This system uses a floating scraper to continuously wash the roller with fresh water while you clean, ensuring you aren't just pushing dirty water around your tiles or floorboards.
The brand has also leaned heavily into high-temperature cleaning with its HyperSteam technology, which can heat steam up to 140°C to shift stubborn, dried-on messes.
Tineco’s current Australian line-up includes the FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Series for premium hard floor care and the Carpet One Cruiser, which was recently named in TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025.
We have also seen the recent launch of the S7 Stretch series, which features a lay-flat design to help the vacuum reach under low furniture like couches and beds.
"Being recognised as the world’s No.1 household wet & dry vacuum cleaner brand for the fourth consecutive year is a significant milestone for Tineco," said Ling Leng, CEO of Tineco. "This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and our mission to simplify everyday life through intelligent technology."
Since introducing the world’s first smart wet and dry vacuum in 2019, the company has expanded its reach to over 10,000 retail locations globally.
