Sorry, I'm just not getting up early to cover the launch this year.

Apple has sent out the invites for its next big product launch. It's scheduled for 10 am on 9 September in Cupertino time, which works out to be 3 am on 10 September for anyone living on the East Coast of Australia.

Last year, I joined forces with Alex Kidman from AlexReviewsTech and Leigh Stark at Pickr to liveblog the iPhone 16 launch, and while it's always fun to work with good people, I just can't bring myself to get up that early this year.

The rumours about products arriving are swirling like mad, and while it's almost certain we'll see Apple's next generation of iPhones (including the iPhone 17 Air), there's also speculation on the AirPods Pro 3.

Until 10 September, though, it's all just speculation. So until I wake up that morning to a collection of press releases and a launch video to catch up on, that's all the speculation you'll see from me.

Times to watch the Apple Awe-dropping event across Australia.
