Logitech's new mouse comes with its own built-in pillow

The Signature Comfort Plus lineup pairs Logitech's first cushioned palm-support mouse with a foam palm rest keyboard, built for people who spend too much time at a desk.

Right now, I've got some serious pain in my shoulder. I should go and see a physio, but ultimately I know it's from spending too many hours a day sitting at my desk, typing away at this little old site.

Logitech's latest lineup is geared precisely for people like me. It may not fix my shoulder pain, but it's designed to be comfortable to use for hours on end.

The Signature Comfort Plus range centres on two products: the M850 L, Logitech's first mouse with a built-in palm cushion, and the MK880 Signature Comfort Plus combo, which pairs that cushioned mouse with a keyboard featuring a dual-foam palm rest and curved typing angles.

There's also an M840 L for those who want everything except the cushion.

The M850 L has a sculpted right-hand shape that is paired with rubber side grips and Logitech's new palm cushion. The cushion sits under your hand during those long stretches where you're juggling work tasks and personal ones on the same machine.

Silent clicking and SmartWheel scrolling round out the experience, and Easy-Switch lets you hop between up to three devices without reaching for a cable.

On the keyboard side, the MK880 combo brings adjustable typing angles (0°, 4°, or 8°), deep cushioned keys, a spill-resistant design, and a customisable AI Launch Key for quick access to tools like Copilot, Gemini, or ChatGPT.

Art O'Gnimh, General Manager of Mice and Keyboard Solutions Group at Logitech, said the goal was to remove friction rather than add features.

"These are tools that don't ask for attention, they give it back, removing small distractions and adding comfort so everything feels smoother and more effortless."

Battery life is up to two years for the mouse and three years for the keyboard, so you won't be hunting for AAs every few months.

There's also a business version of the lineup with Logi Bolt USB-C secure wireless and compatibility with Logitech Sync, the company's IT device management platform, for teams that need to deploy and monitor peripherals at scale.

On the sustainability front, plastic components in the Comfort Plus range contain between 49% and 77% certified post-consumer recycled plastic depending on colour, and packaging is FSC-certified.
