Computex in Taipei is one of the biggest computing shows in the world, and Acer has gone hard this year with a massive suite of product announcements.
The company unveiled new consumer laptops, business machines, gaming rigs, AR and AI glasses, monitors, and even a streaming handheld.
Most of it is confirmed for Australia, so let's break down what's coming and when. (Acer was also busy at Computex 2023 if you want to see how far things have come.)
Laptops
The Swift lineup gets two new additions. If you've read my Swift Go 14 review, you'll have a sense of what the family is about: thin, light, and priced accessibly.
The Swift Air 14 is the more accessible of the pair, powered by Intel's new Core Series 3 processors and weighing just 1.25 kg. It has a 14-inch WUXGA display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, quad speakers with DTS X:Ultra spatial audio, and a claimed battery life of up to 19 hours.
It supports fast charging to 50% in 30 minutes, and comes in sage green, frost blue, blossom pink, or lilac purple.
At $1,399, it's aimed squarely at students and everyday users who want something light and long-lasting.
Alongside it is the Swift Spin 14 AI, a Copilot+ PC convertible with a 360-degree hinge that flips between laptop, tent, display, and tablet modes.
It's powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with 100 platform TOPS of AI performance, and claims up to 26 hours of battery life.
The aluminium chassis carries MIL-STD-810H certification for extra durability, and Wacom AES 2.0 stylus support is built in. Australian pricing hasn't been confirmed yet.
James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer, said: "The Swift Air 14 represents Acer's commitment to making cutting-edge technology more broadly available, wrapped in the elegant chassis the Swift family is known for."
On the business side, the TravelMate lineup gets three new models. The flagship TravelMate P6 14 AI is the most impressive: it weighs under 1 kg in its OLED configuration, runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro, and delivers up to 30 hours of battery life. It starts at $5,899 in Australia.
The TravelMate P2 Spin 14 is a more versatile 2-in-1 for teams that need flexibility, with a world-facing 5MP camera handy for sharing physical documents on video calls, from $2,999. The TravelMate X2 14 rounds out the trio as the SMB-focused workhorse, starting at $2,699.
All three land locally in Q4 2026.
Gaming
The Predator Helios 18 AI is Acer's big swing at Computex, and it's not messing around.
The 18-inch gaming laptop won an iF Design Award 2026 and packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor alongside up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
The display is an 18-inch Mini LED panel running up to 4K at 120 Hz or Full HD at 240 Hz depending on what the game demands.
Cooling is handled by dual 6th Gen Predator AeroBlade 3D fans with 0.05 mm metal blades, which Acer claims deliver 20% more airflow than generic plastic alternatives.
It starts at $11,999 and arrives in Q4 2026.
More interesting for most budgets is the Acer Nitro 16, the first Acer gaming laptop with AMD's Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor.
That chip uses AMD's 3D V-Cache technology to stack extra cache on the CPU die, which tends to make a real difference in gaming workloads. It pairs with up to an RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU and a 16-inch display with up to 240 Hz.
Australian pricing hasn't been set yet.
Acer also announced the Nitro Blaze Link, a 7-inch handheld streaming device that runs Linux and streams games from an Acer PC over Wi-Fi 6.
It weighs 464 g, has a full controller layout, and is designed to let a second person use the household gaming PC while you're in another room. It's a clever idea, though pricing hasn't been confirmed for Australia.

Glasses
Two wearables made their debut at Computex. Acer isn't the first to this space in Australia, with Rokid's AI glasses landing locally last week, but this is a more comprehensive dual offering.
The AR Vision GR0 connects via cable to a phone, laptop, or other device and projects a display equivalent to a 172-inch screen viewed from 6 metres away, using dual micro OLED panels. At 69 g, it's designed to be portable, and works across Android, iOS, and Windows.
It's priced at $999 and arrives in Q3 2026.
The GI0 AI glasses are a different proposition entirely. Weighing just 46 g, they connect wirelessly via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to a paired phone and run Google Gemini as an onboard AI assistant.
You can ask questions, get real-time translations, take photos and video with the 12MP camera, or record voice notes, all hands-free.
They work with Android 12+ and iOS 15+ through the Acer AspireSync app, and are priced at $599 in Q3 2026.
Monitors
Two new displays round out the announcement. The PM161Q JB is a 15.6-inch portable monitor with a Full HD IPS panel and support for a detachable pogo keyboard, aimed at professionals who want a second screen on the road.
It connects via HDMI or USB-C and costs $299 from Q3 2026, putting it up against the Espresso Displays 15 Lite.
The Predator XB273K 3D is the more exciting option for gamers: a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor with a 180 Hz refresh rate and built-in AI that converts standard 2D game content into 3D visuals using eye-tracking technology.
It supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, and the new SpatialLabs 3D Hub app lets you manage 3D modes and access supported titles in native 3D. It costs $2,499 and arrives in Q4 2026.
Pricing and availability
The Acer Swift Air 14 is available in Australia from Q3 2026, priced from $1,399. The Acer AR Vision GR0 and GI0 AI glasses are also confirmed for Q3 2026, at $999 and $599 respectively. The Acer PM161Q JB portable monitor is $299, also available in Q3 2026.
The TravelMate P6 14 AI ($5,899), TravelMate P2 Spin 14 ($2,999), TravelMate X2 14 ($2,699), Predator Helios 18 AI ($11,999), and Predator XB273K 3D monitor ($2,499) are all landing in Q4 2026.
Australian pricing and release timing for the Swift Spin 14 AI, Acer Nitro 16, and Nitro Blaze Link are yet to be confirmed.
