Announced back at CES, Hisense's 2026 Laser lineup of projectors are now ready to land in Australia.
Given just how strong the competition is for big-screen TVs this year, I kind of expect a number of people to turn to projectors like these as different solution to the increasing demand for larger screen sizes.
The main event is the XR10, Hisense's brightest and most advanced long-throw laser projector to date. It pumps out 6,000 ANSI Lumens, which is enough to cut through ambient light and handle backyard setups that would defeat most traditional projectors.
For context, that puts it well above the typical home projector range and into usable-in-daylight territory.
The XR10 features a first-of-its-kind advanced liquid cooling system to keep brightness and image quality stable during long viewing sessions, an issue that has historically plagued high-output projectors.
Setup is handled by Optical Zoom and Lens Shift, so you can position it on a shelf, table or outdoor surface and dial in the image without physically moving the unit. Hisense's AutoMagic AI Adjusting 3.0, along with QuadCam and ToF Smart Sense, handles automatic alignment and optimisation in real time.
Picture quality is underpinned by Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced support, with an Iris system that boosts dynamic contrast up to 60,000:1 for deeper blacks and more defined highlights.
Audio is co-engineered by Devialet | Opera de Paris, which is a genuinely impressive pairing at this price point. If you already own a Hisense TV and love the brand, this is the natural step up for a dedicated cinema room.

The C3 is the more accessible option and it's available now. It uses triple-laser TriChroma technology to deliver 4K resolution across a projection range of 65 to 300 inches.
The design highlight is a gimbal mount that enables 360-degree horizontal and 135-degree vertical projection, meaning you can point it at a ceiling, a wall or an outdoor screen with minimal fuss.
Smart auto-setup handles focus and alignment automatically. Dolby Vision is on board here too, so picture quality standards are strong for the price.
If the best TVs list is looking less appealing because screen sizes are capped at what your room can fit, the C3 in particular is worth a look as a flexible alternative.

Pricing and availability
The Hisense C3 4K TriChroma Projector is available now for $3,499 from Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys and Bing Lee.
The XR10 launches on 14 May 2026 for $9,999 and will be stocked at Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi, as well as specialist AV retailer VideoPro.
