It's been a year since Tineco launched its excellent Floor One S9 Artist Pro. So it's not a surprise the company has updated its steam version with a new edition for 2026, with even hotter steam and a longer battery life.
The new edition FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam Pro is built around three complaints the company says keep coming up with cordless floorcare: not enough run time, too much noise, and reliance on harsh chemicals. This model tries to fix all three at once.
Tineco has pushed the steam temperature up to a huge 230°C. Last year's model promised to hit floors at 99ºC, so that's a pretty massive jump.
Tineco has paired that steam with electrolysed water disinfection for chemical-free cleaning, too.
Battery life gets a big bump to 110 minutes of run time, which Tineco reckons is nearly double what most cordless wet and dry cleaners offer and enough to get through an entire house, floors and stairs included, without stopping for a recharge.
The most interesting addition is Reverse Scrub Mode, a targeted spot-cleaning function that reverses the brush head's rotation for 14 seconds to blast away dried sauce, muddy paw prints or kids' craft glue without you having to get on your hands and knees.
There's also a new Quiet Mode for cleaning at around 69dB, plus a quieter 40dB Silent Mode for the self-cleaning FlashDry function, which is handy if you've got light sleepers in the house.
"Today's launch of the FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam Pro showcases our commitment to leading the steam revolution as we continue to deliver new cleaning innovations to Australia's floorcare category," said Jade Tang, Country Manager for Tineco ANZ. "We've spoken to Australian consumers, and know that run time, noise and the reliance on harsh chemicals are frustrations and concerns holding households back from truly effortless, deep cleaning results. This new edition S9 Artist Steam Pro was engineered to solve all three at once."
The rest of the feature set carries over Tineco's usual tricks: iLoop smart sensors adjusting suction and water flow on the fly, a self-rinsing brush via MHCBS Technology, a 180-degree lay-flat design for reaching under furniture, and smart drive wheels for easier turns.
