This morning I got the opportunity to go eyes-on with Samsung's 2026 lineup of TV and home theatre audio products.
As you might expect, big-screens, AI and microRGB all played a big part in the products being announced.
There's a lot to go through, so let's break it down, bit by bit.
Samsung's 2026 AV range spans Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED and Crystal UHD TVs, alongside a refreshed lineup of soundbars and wireless speakers.
It's the company's 20th year as the world's No. 1 TV brand, and the announcement matches that milestone in scope.

The biggest news is Micro RGB. Available in the R95H and R85H series in sizes from 55 to 115 inches, Samsung's new display technology uses individually controlled red, green and blue micro-sized LEDs to produce more precise colour, greater depth and richer contrast than traditional backlit screens.
It's a big step up from standard QLED, with Samsung claiming 100% BT.2020 colour gamut coverage.
The R95H comes with certified Glare-Free technology, a 12.9mm slim profile and an Infinity Air stand that makes the screen appear to float. It's also Wireless One Connect ready, keeping the setup clean and cable-free.
Threading through most of the 2026 range is Vision AI Companion (VAC), a new AI feature that draws on Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot to surface answers on screen in real time, without pausing what you're watching. Think of it as a search engine built into the TV itself.
Simon Howe, Director of Visual Display at Samsung Australia, said the feature responds to a genuine shift in how people watch. "Our insights show about half of viewers are picking up another device at the same time, whether that's to look up an actor or figure out where a scene was filmed," he said. "With Vision AI Companion, Australians can get answers to those questions right on the screen, without interrupting what they're watching."
The 2026 OLED range includes the S95H, S90H and S85H. The most notable upgrade is that Glare-Free technology now extends to both the S95H and S90H, after being limited to the top-tier S95F last year.
The flagship S95H also gains a FloatLayer Design, Pantone Validated ArtfulColor and the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, while both the S95H and S90H pack Motion Xcelerator 165Hz with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility for gaming.

The Frame gets a worthwhile update too. The Frame Pro (LS03HW) now carries Neo QLED picture quality with Wireless One Connect support, while the standard Frame (LS03HE) introduces a built-in installation option for a flush-to-wall finish.
Both offer access to more than 5,000 curated artworks through the Samsung Art Store.
At the more accessible end of the range, the Neo QLED QN80H spans 50 to 100 inches and starts at $1,599.
The Mini LED M70H starts at $749 for the 43-inch model and brings Motion Xcelerator up to 120Hz and Mini LED HDR.
Google Cast also arrives on Mini LED, Neo QLED and Crystal UHD models this year.
On the audio side, the new Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 are design-led wireless speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support. The Q-Series soundbars return in four configurations, from the entry-level 3.1.2-channel Q600H to the 11.1.4-channel Q990H.
