On a day where Samsung has unleashed its 2026 foldable smartphones, Oppo has launched... a bubble.
Not just any bubble, I guess. The OPPO Bubble is a 35 gram circular AMOLED display that attaches magnetically to your phone and helps preview selfie photos with the rear camera.
It's a neat idea. Anyone who's tried to nail the framing on a rear-camera selfie knows the guesswork involved, since you're relying on your phone's better sensors but flying blind without a screen facing you. Bubble solves that by clipping onto compatible cases or magnetic rings and mirroring what your rear camera sees in real time.
It's not limited to being stuck to your phone either. Bubble can act as a remote viewfinder and shutter button from up to 10 metres away, which opens things up for tripod shots, group photos, or just weird creative angles you can't reach one-handed.
And when you're not shooting, it doubles as a wearable accessory, clipping onto a keychain or lanyard with a customisable AMOLED face you can fill with photos, animations or text through Oppo's companion app.
It's available now for $189 and works with the Reno16 Series and Find X9 Series.

Reno16 launch offers
Buyers of the Reno16 Pro from JB Hi-Fi or Oppo's online store can claim a bonus OPPO Watch X3 (worth $699) via redemption, while Reno16 F buyers get a bonus OPPO Watch S (worth $399) through JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys or Oppo's online store. Both offers run from 23 July to 5 August.
From 6 to 19 August, JB Hi-Fi is offering extended trade-in bonuses of $400 on the Reno16 Pro and $300 on the Reno16 F, while Oppo's own store is bundling a one-year screen warranty, a Bubble and a matching magnetic case (valued at $337) with any Reno16 Series purchase.
Additionally, the OPPO Find N6 foldable has dropped from $3,299 to $2,799 for a limited time, available through Oppo's online store and JB Hi-Fi until 5 August.

The Reno16 Pro is priced at $1,599 in Pop White or Starlight Black, available from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Harvey Norman and Oppo's online store.
The Reno16 F is priced at $999 in Pop White or Twilight Violet, available from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Oppo's online store.
Reno16 launch bonuses run from 23 July to 5 August, with extended trade-in and bundle offers available from 6 to 19 August.
The OPPO Find N6 is discounted to $2,799 (down from $3,299) until 5 August through Oppo's online store and JB Hi-Fi.
