The weather has started warming up, and that means winter is giving way to spring, and all the cleaning that involves.

Dreame wants to help with the launch of the T16 Pro TriForce wet and dry vacuum. It's designed to use 200°C steam and 90°C hot water mopping to clean your home effectively.

The idea is to handle sticky spills, pet messes and everyday grime without switching tools or going over the same patch of floor twice.

Dreame calls the system Triple Water-Driven Force. It combines SaunaClean 200°C steam sterilisation, ThermoRinse 90°C hot water mopping and FoamWash deodorising foam in the one machine.

The steam is aimed at bacteria and dust mites hiding in grout lines and crevices. The hot water goes after grease and dried-on spills. The foam, described by Dreame as having a floral-fruit scent, targets pet odours specifically.

Dreame's H16 Pro Steam covered similar ground earlier this year, so the brand is clearly doubling down on high-temperature cleaning as its point of difference in the Australian market.

The T16 Pro TriForce also packs 30kPa suction, up from the H16's 28kPa, and a 180-degree lie-flat design for getting under beds and sofas. A dual-heat self-cleaning system uses steam and hot water to wash the brush after every use, cutting down on the bacterial build-up that tends to collect in bristles.

Patrick Wang, Business Director at Dreame, said the goal was to bring several cleaning technologies together rather than making households juggle separate tools.

"By combining high-temperature steam cleaning, hot-water mopping and deodorising foam technology, it delivers a powerful and hygienic clean while helping consumers spend less time on household chores and more time on what matters most."

At 9.85 cm thick, the vacuum is built to be slim enough to manoeuvre around furniture without feeling like a chore in itself, and the lay-flat design is essential for cleaning under furniture.
