MOVA's V70 Ultra Complete wants to out clean your corners

MOVA has launched its flagship V70 Ultra Complete robot vacuum in Australia, and it's added an extendable side brush arm to chase down the dirt hiding in the corners of your skirting boards and furniture legs.

While we know that a robot vacuum's Pa suction power isn't the whole story when it comes to cleaning prowess, there's no denying that a bigger Pa is better than a smaller one. And the new MOVA V70 Ultra promises an utterly ridiculous (in a good way) 42,000 Pa of suction.

More than suction, MOVA's big pitch here is getting to areas robot vacuums tend to struggle with: corners, edges, and the gap under your couch.

The V70 Ultra Complete pairs a 17cm mop extension with a 12cm side brush extension, both of which can stretch out on the fly to chase dirt into recessed furniture and low clearance spots.

MOVA says that combination delivers up to three times the edge and corner coverage of a standard robot vacuum design.

The StepMaster System 2.0 lets the robot lift its own chassis to climb over thresholds, door tracks and furniture legs up to 9cm high, while a retractable navigation sensor drops the robot's profile so it can duck under low furniture without losing its bearings.

There's AI recognition of more than 300 household objects, so the V70 Ultra Complete should get better at steering around shoes, cables and pet toys the longer it lives in your home.

And for pet-owners, there's a dedicated Pet Care mode that claims 99.9 percent accuracy at spotting animals and their mess, adjusting its path to avoid both.

Maintenance is handled by an EcoCyclone Bagless Dust Station with a washable tank, good for up to 100 days between empties, cutting down on the usual parade of disposable dust bags.

The station also handles mop washing, drying, and mopping solution refills automatically.

Nancy Zhang, Country Manager at MOVA ANZ, said the V70 Ultra Complete was built around the everyday frustrations that still trip up robot vacuums.

"Robot vacuums have become much more capable, but many households still experience the same real world frustrations: missed corners, furniture gaps, thresholds and ongoing maintenance," Zhang said. "The V70 Ultra Complete brings that focus to life through flagship intelligence, powerful performance and practical design advancements that address real household blind spots, from recessed furniture and narrow gaps to low clearance areas."
