Sony's LinkBuds earbuds aren't the audio company's flagship earphones, but they are a great example of the brand's approach to innovative design.

Using a unique, open-ring design to allow audio passthrough, the new LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open expand the lineup first launched back in 2022.

The ring design allows for you to hear your surroundings, while still being able to listen to music. It's Sony's solution to headphones like the Shokz OpenFit.

The LinkBuds Fit comes with newly developed fitting supporters and earbud tips to improve the fit, without creating discomfort. The fitting supporters have a soft, hollow tail to reduce ear contact and pressure.

The LinkBuds Fit come with the same Integrated Processor V2 that powers the noise cancellation in the WF-1000XM5, while an ambient sound mode automatically adjusts the surrounding sounds to let you enjoy your music anywhere.

The earbuds support high resolution audio, and have integrated mics for clear call quality, plus multipoint connection, head gesture support and an IPX4 water resistance rating.

Sony has also expanded the LinkBuds family with a Bluetooth speaker. It's designed to seamlessly swap playback between LinkBuds earbuds and the speaker.

A detachable strap makes it easy to take the speaker with you anywhere, while the IPX4 rating makes it splashproof. Sony promises up to 25 hours of playback from the LinkBuds Speaker.
