HP's annual Intel-powered laptop update has just been announced, and as you might expect, there's AI everywhere.

First announced in January at CES, the new lineup spans four devices: the OmniBook Ultra 14, OmniStudio X 27, EliteBook X G2i and ZBook X G2i.

All run on Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which include a dedicated on-device AI engine for faster task handling, improved battery efficiency and better privacy compared to cloud-based processing.

The consumer-focused OmniBook Ultra 14 is probably the most interesting of the lot. It fits a 3K OLED display into a slim, portable chassis alongside AI-powered collaboration tools and all-day battery life with fast charge.

At $4,499, it's aimed squarely at creative professionals who need serious performance without the added weight.

The OmniStudio X 27 is an all-in-one desktop with a 27-inch QHD display and optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics. It's designed for creatives working from a fixed setup who want strong colour accuracy and smooth performance across demanding apps.

For business users, the EliteBook X G2i Flip brings a convertible design to the mix, pairing long battery life, enterprise security features and a lightweight chassis with Intel's AI performance. Prices start at $4,500.

The ZBook X G2i is HP's mobile workstation option, supporting optional NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell graphics, Wi-Fi 7 and local AI processing as a Copilot+ PC. It's the one to look at if you're regularly pushing through video editing, 3D design or other demanding workloads on the go.

HP's Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Brad Pulford, summed up the company's pitch neatly. "Our next-generation portfolio brings this to life by combining AI-powered performance with a seamlessly connected ecosystem, so work feels simpler, more intuitive and more secure."

HP also confirmed that its gaming lineup is now unified under the HyperX brand following the CES 2026 announcement, merging OMEN hardware with HyperX peripherals into a single ecosystem. No local pricing or specific availability for gaming products was shared at this stage.
